October
Holiday Cards for Heroes - Cliff View Branch of St. Charles County Library.
Turkey Trot - Students in the Wentzville School District area, third grade through sixth grade can participate. The winner in each bracket receives a frozen turkey and a medal. The top third racers of each bracket receive a medal. All racers receive a race shirt* and a race bib. *race shirts if registered prior to entry deadline
The race encourages kids to have a healthy lifestyle, supports the Holt Cross Country Team, and helps fund our club scholarships and community activities.
November - December
Poinsettia Sales - Proceeds help fund our annual scholarships
Trim-a-tree at the Wentzville Police Department
January
Optimist International Essay and Oratorical contest judging. WPD senior winners receive a $500 scholarship and a single winner of each contest advances to the zone/regional/ and possibly the international contest
February
Lake St. Louis Polar Plunge - Our team helps at the event which raises money for the Special Olympics
~~Summer of 2026~~ Veteran 250 raising money for Folds of Honor in celebration of 250 Years of Independence
May
Scholarship presentations and awards banquet with our GOLD corporate sponsors
July
Helping Wentzville Police Explorers at the summer camp
August
Junior Kids Camp with Wentzville Police Dept - Assisting where needed during the three-day event
Back to School Fair; Filling backpacks with school supplies for the fair, helping the Masonic Organization during the fair with their MoCHIP program
September
Officer Recognition; recognizing an officer in Wentzville and Lake St. Louis for their service to kids
We also support 2 Lending Libraries in the community; Wentzville Ice Arena, Whisper Creek Fire Station and are on call for support of the Kids Clothing Closet requests.
